This 2 ½ hour seminar focuses on the adjustment to parenthood and infant care. Information will be provided about parents’ adjustment; reactions from family, friends, and strangers (especially in transracial/cultural adoptions); the importance of developing a support system; attachment issues; childcare issues; and childproofing the home.
