In international adoption, there are additional issues that impact your child’s adjustment to your family – the effects of orphanage life, early childhood attachment, language acquisition, and grief reactions– to name a few. We are pleased to offer a daylong seminar to families adopting from
Latin America . Our trainers are master’s level trainers, who specialize in international adoption issues and who have been conducting these classes for several years. We urge all adopting families to attend this training after your home study is completed and before you travel.
