Since 1990, Adoptions Together has worked hard to help all children in need of a loving, permanent home, regardless of the child's age, health, race, physical or mental disability. No child has ever been turned away, no matter how severe the need, because we believe that every child deserves a loving home. Adoptions Together is a licensed, nonprofit agency that also provides lifelong services to all those touched by adoption -- children, birth parents, adoptive families, and the professionals who counsel and support adoptive families.

Adoption fees cover only 80% of our services. We depend upon friends like you to contribute the remaining 20% to help us share the care for our community's most vulnerable children.

 The Need Is Great

Right now, in Maryland and the District alone, more than 3,000 children are waiting for a permanent home. With your help during this second decade of our work, Adoptions Together will continue to:

• Quickly find loving adoptive homes for medically fragile infants whose birth families cannot care for them.
• Expand adoption opportunities for children facing painful, lengthy waits in temporary foster care placements.
• Educate and guide adoptive families in addressing their children’s difficult questions or struggles with adoption issues.
• Provide free adoption counseling to all birthparents seeking help.
• Lead humanitarian relief efforts for orphanages around the world.
