THE POST PERMANENCY FAMILY CENTER - CRISIS INTERVENTION

Skilled listeners will staff the crisis line, which is available to provide immediate telephone crisis counseling to families who are in need of counseling services. In addition, the client will be provided with possible resource referrals.

Crisis Intervention Services are offered in the form of an immediate assessment and time limited interventions in life-threatening or volatile situations. The caring staff at the Post Permanency Resource Center will connect the family in crisis to the appropriate provider that best meets the needs of the family.

The Crisis Line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 202-526-4802. All calls will be handled with confidentiality and services, at the clients’ request will be rendered anonymously.
